We recently had one of Carie's friends growing up visit us in Atlanta and spent a day with us. She is a different religion and went to church with us. She knows a lot about Mormons already and we got into a discussion and she asked lots of questions. Carie and I were able to answer most of them, but I didn't have an answer to one. She asked why African-Americans were unable to hold the priesthood until 1978. I wasn't too sure so I decided to do research and find out.
